Welcome to “Vanity”, a premium Shopify theme.
Vanity sports a clean and minimal feel and is well suited to stores selling furniture, household appliances, home-wares such as scented candles or decorative prints, bathroom fixtures, lighting etc. We have incorporated our experience working with dozens of Shopify store owners making this theme easy to customize and maintain.
Theme Features
- Color settings are available for every aspect of the theme (including the checkout page).
- Three preset color settings (Lily White, Blues Anatomy and Expresso).
- Use either a logo image or shop name in the header.
- Sub-menus supported for the main menu (under the "Catalog" menu above).
- Built in support for CSS3 rounded corner buttons that automatically match your color scheme.
- 5 footer widgets to choose from: Navigation, Contact, Latest News, Sign Up form and Testimonials
- Home page:
- Slideshow with images specified and size automatically using theme settings.
- Optionally display welcome text
- Gallery: choose between featured products or a category listing
- Collection pages:
- Filter collections by tag (example)
- Breadcrumb navigation on collection and product pages.
- Product page:
- Optionally turn on Facebook Like so that users can recommend your products to their friends.
- Related products (example).
- Navigate to other products within the same collection on the product pages.
- For products with only one variant, the “default” selection box is hidden.
- SEO:
- Unique metadata attributes for every page.
- hProduct microformat provides rich product information (e.g. price) to search engine robots.
Technical
- Clean XHTML and CSS3 (with safe degradation for older browsers).
- Uses the jQuery javascript library.
- Uses jQuery Tools for slideshow, overlay (lightbox), tooltips and tabs.
- Collections and Index uses a product snippet to ensure consistency and reduce maintenance.
